Nobili has sophisticated Milanese take on cashmere cardigans

What’s the story? Wiolanda Nobili established the sophisticated cashmere brand in Milan in 1999. Introducing the idea of cashmere bikinis, the brand quickly found commercial success and has grown to embody quality, Italian craftsmanship, offering ready-towear and bespoke pieces for both men and women. The garments are made in the Nobili laboratory, which uses Coppo manual machines similar to those employed in the 1900s.

Why we love it: Nobili’s attention to detail can be seen in simple designs and top quality cashmere blended with silk. Every production process is executed in Italy, and there is official government certification to prove it.

What we’d pick: the Gaia Barchetta top (above left; HK$3,870) and the Lilly cardigan (above centre; HK$6,270) are elegant, relaxed pieces while the Julie cardigan (above right; HK$4,140) is an option for more formal occasions.
